Meg and the team from CIBI take over the kitchen at Mac’s Graceburn Wine Room for a night of Japanese seasonal cooking matched with wine from Mac Forbes.
The dinner celebrates the 2017 Mac Forbes Winter Release. New release wines, 2015 Hugh, 2015 Hugh Merlot, 2016 Wesburn Chenin and 2016 Healesville Syrah will be open and available on the night.
To accompany the 5 course dinner, Mac will open some rare older wines from the cellar connected to the same vineyards. It promises to be a night of beautiful food and generous wines among friends.
CIBI is a store, food and life-style all in one space which was established in 2008 in Collingwood, Melbourne. Owners, Meg and Zenta, have been great supporters of Mac and his wines, as well as great friends. In August last year, Mac chose Meg and Zenta’s Collingwood space, Mina no ie, to hold his ’10 years of Woori’ celebration.
For those who haven’t yet visited Graceburn Wine Room, it’s an intimate space in the heart of Healesville with a beautiful ambience and wines to match. If you’re unable to make it on the evening of the 10th, the release wines will be open and available to taste all weekend.
