The School House block in Woori Yallock was planted in 1995 and has been leased by Mac Forbes Wines since 2012. Woori Yallock is located in the cooler Upper Yarra Valley. The soil type of this vineyard is a grey loamy clay overlying siltstone. At an altitude of 100-145m and with a south-west facing aspect the vines are protected from hot northerly winds. Woori Yallock produces stunning fruit in both hot and cooler years. It is everything we hope for in a site – it displays its own individual personality.
